Client:LEPL Agency for IDPs, Eco-migrants and Livelihood Provision

Start date:Aug 2024
Completion date:Dec 2027
Functional Profile: Residential Complex
Address: Zugdidi, Adjacent to Janashia Street

The multi-apartment residential complex in Zugdidi covers a vast territory and is stretched across a large area of a flat terrain. The buildings of the complex are symmetrically arranged in four rows and three circles, providing a sense of spatial organization. Parallel driveways are connected to the main entrance of the complex, and green spaces are set out in parts that are perpendicular to each other.

The complex consists of twelve seven-story buildings, with each apartment featuring a balcony to enhance natural lighting and air circulation.

As is typical of so-called “urban-type projects”, the façades of the buildings have simple geometric shapes. The architectural elements connecting the balconies are covered in a relatively dark beige tone, contrasting with the lighter main façade, adding visual sophistication to the complex.

Under the contract, the following work is to be performed:

• construction of the building structures;
• insulation of the underground walls;
• blockwork;
• roof insulation works;
• installation of engineering networks (MEP);
• façade finishing;
• paving common spaces;
• 1760 apartment finishing (so-called “turnkey”).
