The purpose of the reservoirs, located in Daba Bakuriani, is to cover the winter resort with artificial snow.

Reservoirs were arranged in two places, on Kokhta-Mitarbi mountain and Didveli. Kokhta-Mitarbi reservoir capacity is about 105,000 m³, and Didveli reservoir - 200,000 m³.

Within the project: pumping stations, water intake and discharge control rooms, sand cleaner, water catchment, excess water discharge and water discharge facilities have been also built.
