The Anagi Construction Company renovated Gudiashvili Square and the adjacent streets as part of the New Tbilisi project.

Within the framework of the project, the rehabilitation of three houses was fully completed, while four houses were built from scratch and seven houses were reconstructed.

During the reconstruction, the walls and façades of historical importance and with cultural heritage status were preserved in most cases; the centuries-old brick arches in the basements of the house were also preserved and restored.

It should be noted that during project implementation a number of archaeological artefacts were discovered.
