Teimuraz Zhghenti graduated from Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute in 1977, Faculty of Bridges and Tunnels, majoring in civil engineering.

From 1963 to 1974 Teimuraz Zhghenti was a worker at Batumi Shoe Factory. From 1975 to 1981 he worked at the Second Construction and Installation Department of Batumi Construction Trust #5 of the Ministry of Construction of Georgia in various positions: a laboratory assistant, a construction foreman, a site manager, and a senior site manager. From 1981-2001 he was the Chief Engineer at the Second Construction and Installation Department of Batumi Construction Trust #5 of the Ministry of Construction of Georgia. In 2001 Teimuraz Zhghenti started work at Anagi LLC firstly as a leading engineer in the Technical Department and later as the Director of the Technical Department of Batumi Office.

Starting from 2021 Teimuraz Zhghenti is a Co-Director of the Technical Department of the Batumi Office.
