In 1981 Merab Mtsariasvili graduated from Technological College with the specialty of food technology.

From 1984 to 1993 Merab Mtsariasvili worked at the Department of Technical Control at Radio Factory. In 1993-1996 he was the head of the shift at Gardabani Rubber Oil Factory. In 2007-2011 he worked at the construction company Inzhmsheni as a foreman at first and later as a superintendent.

Since 2012 Merab Mtsariasvili is a senior specialist of Mechanization at Anagi Construction Company.
